- • Assume all .edu domains are valid (some are not educational)

- • Include personal domains (gmail.com, yahoo.com) in target groups
- • Forget to handle subdomain variations
Issue: Student email uses subdomain not in database
Example: student.email@mail.university.edu where only university.edu is in database
Solution: Our system automatically checks parent domains. If mail.university.edu isn't found, we check university.edu.
Issue: International university not recognized
Example: University in developing country with limited online presence
Solution: Contact support with official documentation. We prioritize adding institutions with verified accreditation.
Issue: Too many false positives
Example: Targeting too broad a region includes unwanted institutions
